About PrintKid
PrintKid publishes free printable paper activities for children aged three to ten: word searches, mazes, Sudoku, coloring pages, I Spy sheets and dot-to-dots. Every file is a print-ready PDF sized for A4 and US Letter paper, and nothing here needs an account, an email address or a payment.
What you will find here
PrintKid is built for the adult who prepares the activity: parents, teachers, homeschool families and caregivers. Each printable lists the recommended age range, the difficulty level, the theme and the number of pages, so you can tell in a few seconds whether it suits the child in front of you. Most puzzles also include a separate answer sheet, which makes them practical for a classroom centre, a homework folder, a waiting room or a quiet half hour at home.
How every printable is made
Every printable follows the same three steps. Nothing is published before the third one is finished.
Human research. We start from what children actually do at each age: which letter shapes a five-year-old can already scan, how many words fit a grid before it becomes tedious, and how long a puzzle should take before attention runs out.
Programmatic generation. The puzzle layouts are produced by our own tooling, which places every word or path and verifies that a solution exists. That is how one activity can be offered at several difficulty levels without hand-drawing every grid.
Human review. Each file is then checked by hand before it goes live: the answer sheet is solved, the vocabulary is read for age-appropriateness, and the pages are printed to confirm the margins and contrast work on a home printer.
